Camera becomes text scanner

In the "China Computer Education News", No. 28, E5, 2005, "The camera can do for teaching" article, after reading, benefited a lot, the author here to supplement the use of the camera. The camera can also be used for scanning ordinary text to solve the need. The software needed here is Office 2003, which was not available in previous versions.

Open "Start → Microsoft office → Microsoft office tools → Microsoft office Document Scanning", if the item is not installed, the system will be installed automatically. After the installation is complete, the Scan New File dialog box will pop up. Click the [Scanner] button, select the camera in the pop-up dialog box, and select the "Show scanner driver before scanning" check box, and then select "Black and White Mode". And select the "page change prompt" and "view file after scanning" two.

Then click the [Scan] button to scan. During the scanning process, a dialog box will pop up, select the [Format] button, then select 600×480 resolution in “Output Size”, and then Flatten the document, repeatedly adjust the focal length and position of the camera to achieve the best effect. Click the [Capture] button to get the picture. The picture will be displayed in the “Legend” box, then select the picture and click [Send] The button will start scanning the text in the picture. Click [Finish] button after scanning, and the system will automatically open the recognition program Microsoft Office Document Imaging, which can be recognized by this file. After the completion, you can select the full text, right click and select the "Send text to Word" item, then the selected content will be opened by Word and can be edited.
