Thunder 5.9 common problem solving

Thunder 5.9 has been released, but there are still some common problems. Maybe some users will not adapt to the upgrade after the upgrade, I will answer some major questions here. For example, Vista UAC issues, half-open connection fixes, support for Firefox or Maxthon issues, resource collection issues, anti-virus issues, etc. Solving these problems often allows us to better use Thunder 5.9.

First, use a real administrator account under Vista

If you use Thunder 5.9 under Windows Vista, it is best to use a real administrator account. By default, after Windows Vista is installed, the Administrator is not activated, and this administrator is authentic, so it must be activated.

Click "Start", then right click "Computer", select "Manage", then select "Computer Management (Local)" → "System Tools" → "Local Users and Groups" → "Users" . Right-click on Administrator, select "Properties" and uncheck the "Account is deactivated" checkbox in the open window (see Figure 1). After
, right click on the Administrator, select "Set Password", and then set the password in the open window (Figure 2). Restart your computer and you will see the Administrator account and log in to the system. After that, installing and using Thunder 5.9 will be much more convenient, and there will be no similar problems with UAC.

Second, optimize system half-open connection < Br>

It is important to note that Thunder 5.9 has a major breakthrough - the built-in half-open connection optimization function is not only applicable to Windows XP SP2/SP3 and Windows Vista, but also to Windows Vista SP1, even for Windows Vista SP2 and Windows 7. Moreover, Thunder 5.9 adopts a new technology and "double guarantee" to modify the tcpip.sys file and modify the memory, and supports the "automatic modification after the download task starts" function, which can guarantee the high-speed download at the same time, other network activities are not Affected.

All we have to do is select the "Tools" → "Configure" command, click "Network Settings" on the left, and then click the "Optimize" button under "System Half-Open Connection Optimization". Then follow the wizard. If you need to restart your computer to take effect under Windows XP (Figure 3), if you can also select the "Automatically modify after download task starts" check box under Windows Vista, let it automatically optimize (Figure 4).

Third, support Firefox

Firefox is a very popular browser, very fast, and more secure than IE, so there are many users. However, Thunder 5.9 is currently unable to "natively support" Firefox. However, it can be solved by the following two methods:

1. Borrow the old version file

Install Thunder 5.8.14.706 version on another computer (download address: Thunder5.8.14.706 .exe ">http://down.sandai.net/Thunder5.8.14.706.exe), then copy the C:\\Program Files\\Thunder NetworkThunderComponentsExplorerHelper folder to the installation folder with Thunder 5.9 installed, such as C:\\Program Files\\Thunder Under NetworkThunderComponents (there is no ExplorerHelper folder). Then try to select the "Tools" → "Add-ons" command in Firefox, click the "Extensions" tab, and then drag and drop C:\\Program FilesThunder NetworkThunderComponentsExplorerHelper hunder.xpi to " "Extensions" of the "Additional" window, then installed like a normal extension (Figure 5), and finally restart Firefox.
