Samsung Microsoft cooperation at the beginning: Let Win10 and Samsung home appliances communication

On January 8th, with foreign technology media reports, Microsoft's Windows operating system and hardware business executive vice president Terry Myerson (Terry Myerson) unexpectedly appeared in the International Consumer Electronics Show Samsung's keynote speech held on Thursday morning local time. At the meeting, we talked about the “new partnership” and “commitment of joint innovation” between the two companies. The new partnership between the two companies includes

cooperative research and development of Internet technology. At Samsung's keynote speech, Microsoft showed how to let Windows 10 communicate with Samsung home appliances, such as whether Microsoft Xiaona washing machine has washed clothes, or use Windows 10 to analyze the washing habits of a family member. The system uses Microsoft's Power BI data visualization tool to display data.
Melson said at a Samsung keynote speech: "We are excited to build a vision with Samsung: millions of devices and objects communicate with each other using open protocols and development standards, for global software developers, Equipment manufacturers and various new star manufacturers create opportunities."
Microsoft has been working with Samsung to provide Windows systems for the latter. But in recent years, Samsung has focused on developing and producing Android devices. Since the two companies settled a patent lawsuit a year ago, the relationship between the two companies has begun to warm up. For example, Samsung's Galaxy S6 comes preloaded with Microsoft applications; Samsung also announced the Galaxy TabPro S tablet with Windows 10 at the International Consumer Electronics Show.
Melson said in an interview: "We are very excited to re-engage with Samsung. This is a major decision."
