Solution for unable to enable system restore function under Tomato Garden win7 system

Reason 1. It may be that the Microsoft Software Shadow Copy Provider service is not enabled, or the optimization software has turned off this service. You must enable this service by using the system restore function.
Workaround: First open the Run dialog box in the Start menu, and enter services, press Enter to open the service management interface; then find and double-click the "Microsoft Software Shadow Copy Provider" service, in the pop-up property interface, will The startup type setting is turned on.

Cause 2, it is possible that the C drive does not open the system protection.
Workaround: 1) Right click on the computer icon, select Properties, click on System Protection on the left, check if the C drive is turned on.

2) If not, click Configure, then Select “Restore system settings and previous versions of files” items, then click the OK button to save and exit.



3. It may be that the restore point is not set. If the restore point is not set, it can't be restored. You can create it by clicking Create Restore Point in the window below.
