The remote desktop settings are divided into two types, one is Windows 7 connected to non-Windows 7 remote desktop, the second is Windows 7 connected to Windows Vista/7/2008 such as remote desktop, so this article is respectively Windows 7 Connected to Windows 2003/XP and even to Windows 7, because the settings are two-way, that is, one party must set up the connection, the other party must set the acceptance. Connect remote desktop settings to other systems and add them later.
First, enable the remote desktop of the target computer
Reminder: If the target computer has been set, or is not in its own controlled range, please skip this paragraph, you can directly connect to the test.
1. Enable Remote Desktop on Windows XP
Right click on the desktop and click on the "My Computer" icon, select "Properties", in the Properties window, click on the "Remote" tab. As shown below:

Click to “Allow users to connect to this computer remotely”, the default administrator has this permission, remote desktop login needs to enter the corresponding account and password, if you only intend to let a user remote access Can be added in “remote users”. Click OK when setup is complete. The default port is 3389. After setting, Windows XP or Windows 2003 will add this rule to the firewall by default. However, if you manually modify the remote desktop port, you must remember to modify the port number in the firewall or add the license rule separately. Otherwise the remote computer connection may be blocked by the Windows Firewall.
2, Windows 7 remote desktop function open
This setting method is also applicable to Vista and Windows Server 2008, click "Start", click on the menu - Control Panel - System and Security - System, then click on the remote on the left Settings, as shown below:

To open Windows 7 remote desktop, there are three options, the first one if you are not allowed to connect to the machine, select “ not allowed to connect to this computer & rdquo; Prevent anyone from connecting to your computer using Remote Desktop or RemoteApp. The latter two options, "Allow any version of remote desktop computers" and "Only run remote desktop computers that use network-level authentication", the difference is as follows:
“Allows you to run any version of Remote Desktop Computer Connection & rdquo;—— Select this if you are unsure of the computer operating system you will be connecting to. Security is lower than the third option.
“Only allow computer connections to run remote desktops with network-level authentication”—— allows people who are running remote desktop or RemoteApp version computers with network-level authentication to connect to your computer. Currently, Vista, Windows 2008, and Windows 7 support network-level authentication. Windows XP can be supported by modifying the registry. If you need to, please search for it yourself.

Second, Windows 7 remote desktop connection settings
1, run the remote desktop program
click the start menu, enter mstsc, run mstsc.exe, location: C: windowssystem32

2. Set the remote desktop "local resources"
