The process of creating a subdomain is basically similar to the process of creating a primary domain controller. The following is an example of a test subdomain created under the domain of dz.cn.
1) Install [DNS Server] and [Active Directory Domain Service] role
First confirm that the preferred DNS of the TCP/IP attribute of the local network card points to the domain controller (parent domain dZ.cn 10. 0. 66.99 /24), at the same time confirm that the local IP address (10. 0.66. 199/24) and the domain controller are on the same network segment, and then follow the method of "create the first domain controller" to install [DNS server] And the [Active Directory Domain Services] role.
2) Create subdomain controller
Execute win7 [Start] [Administrative Tools] I [Server Manager] command, in the Server Manager window, click [Control Panel] on the left [Range] Option, click the [Active Directory Domain Services] button on the right, and then click the [Active Directory Domain Services Installation Wizard (dcpromo. exe)] button to start the installation wizard, and click the [Next] button continuously.
Until the dialog box shown in Figure 1 pops up, click to select the [Existing Forest] I [Create New Domain in Existing Forest] button, and then click the [Next] button, as shown in Figure 2. In the dialog box, enter the account credentials for the installation (in this case, use the domain administrator lchh), and then click the [OK] button to enter the new domain in the dialog box shown in Figure 3: parent domain (dz. cn ), sub-field (lest). Click the [Next] button to confirm the NetBIOS name in the dialog box shown in Figure 4.
