Win7 boot menu boot startos

At the time of installing startos5.1, in the partition interface, the "Advanced" option has the option to install the boot device in which partition, the options are "mbr", "linux root directory", if Only select "linux root directory" After installation, there is no linux boot menu. If you add new entries to the tool easybcd, the linux menu will not appear, so either select "mbr" or both, it is recommended to choose this in win7. In the environment, you can use the tool easybcd to configure the boot menu. In the future, you can use the following method to add the linux boot menu.
However, it should be noted that win7 needs to be reactivated. In this case, I hope that startos can solve the problem in the future version.
win7+startos Dual system, realize bootos with win7 boot menu:
After installing startos5.1, the boot menu is startos, not moving it . Restart to win7, download Easybcd2.2, green version is also OK. Open Easybcd, in the “BCD Deployment” tab of Easybcd2.2, just click “Write MBR” button. After restarting, the startup menu of startos is gone. Only the startup menu of win7, please note that win7 needs to be reactivated. !
Then select the new item in the Easybcd2.2, add the new item, select the Linux/BSD card, type: GRUB2, the name is customized to startos5.1, drive: partition 7 (Linux-8GB) ie the startos system The root partition (selected according to the root partition of your own installation startos), the other does not move. Do not select “automatically locate and load", otherwise win7 will be started. Finally, click “Add new entry” to add the startos5.1 item to the startup menu of win7. However, after selecting startos in the win7 boot menu, there will still be a secondary menu, which is the startup menu of startos.
Set ylmf to default startup in the grub.cfg file of startos, with a wait time of 0. This way, select ylmf in the win7 boot menu and go directly to startos. After reinstalling win7, you can do the same, and add a startos with Easybcd2.2. When installing startos, it is best to select both the boot installation to the MBR and the installation to the root partition, as it can be selected at the same time. The effect is the same. Moreover, if you only choose to install to the root partition, even if you add the startos startup item to Easybcd, the driver can not start the startos by selecting the root partition.
