This method has been personally tested by the author and is applicable to any win7 version.
1. After installation, there is a 30-day period of use.
2. At the end of the 30-day trial period, restart the computer with the rearm command, and the remaining time is restored to 30 days. The official Microsoft document states that the order can only be used three times, which means that it can be used for a total of 120 days for free.
The method is as follows: Open the attachment —– command prompt. (Note that you want to run using the right-click admin mode). Enter the “slmgr.vbs/rearm” command on the command line to extend the usage period by 30 days.
After rebooting the system, it was restored to 30 days.
3. After the above method 3 times, after a total of 120 days, it will not be used again after that. To proceed to the next step, modify a key in the registry, you can reuse the above command, please open the Registry Editor, and then navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows NT\\CurrentVersion\\SoftwareProtectionPlatform".
As shown in Figure 1, find the "SkipRearm" in the right pane, and change its key value to "1", and you can use the "slmgr.vbs /rearm" command again. The value can be modified a total of 8 times, which means that we can reuse the command of "slmgr.vbs/rearm".
Therefore, the time for free use is: 30 days for the initial installation, plus slmgr for the first three times and 90 days, then 8 times to modify the registry for 240 days.
