Win7 broadband connection prompt error 628 solution

Fault prompt:

< Error 628: The connection was terminated by the remote computer before the connection was completed.

The phenomenon of Windows 7 system is as shown in Figure 1 & rdquo;.

Fault Cause:

<quo;Broadband Connection<quo;Properties in Security Settings.

If you select the Broadband Connection Properties (Figure 2), use the Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP)(E)”, error 628 will be prompted.

Solution:

Select “ in Figure 3" in the "Allow to use these protocols (P) & rdquo;, and below" unencrypted Password (PAP)(U)”,"Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol (CHAP)(C)","Microsoft CHAP Version 2 (MS-CHAP v2)(M)” are selected, left click Ok.
