Win7 can not safely remove the mobile hard disk solution

Safely remove hardware is a program to protect the hard disk from being destroyed. The purpose of safely removing the hardware is to return the hard disk head and no longer read or write to protect the hard disk. In XP, after the hard disk is safely deleted, the mobile hard disk will be powered off and stopped. And vista and win7 safely remove the hardware, it will not cut off the power connection, only the data connection is disconnected, that is to say the hard disk continues to rotate, but it can be pulled directly. But sometimes you can't safely delete the hardware:

What if you encounter this situation?

(1) Use unlocker, a free right-click extension tool.

After installation, right click on the U disk drive, select unlocker to unlock, and then delete it safely.

This is a non-basic basic method. If not, please skip to step (2) to solve it.

I used unlocker 1.9.0 to unlock the mobile disk and found that the explorer.exe process is accessing the disk, so I performed all the unlock operations. It is reasonable to say that the mobile hard disk should be at this time. Can be safely deleted, but an operation, or prompted the hard disk is in use, can not be safely deleted.

(2) Another reason for the inability to safely delete is that some software processes prevent the removal of the mobile hard disk, such as some anti-virus software, win7's own process and QQ.

The specific solution is: right click "My Computer"--->"Administration"--->"Event Viewer"--->"Windows Log"--->" System", find the log information with a yellow warning.

What I found was that the application \\Device\\HarddiskVolume1\\Windows\\System32\\svchost.exe with process ID 2468 stopped the removal or eject of the device USB\\VID_1058&PID_071A\\575850314533304658433836.

There are more than ten svchost.exe in win7 process. Our job is to find svchost.exe corresponding to process ID 2468, and end the corresponding svchost.exe, then you can safely delete the hardware. .

Of course, some people have seen this information: the application \\Device\\HarddiskVolume4\\ProgramFiles\\Tencent\\QQ\\Bin\\QQ.exe with process ID 1128 stopped the device USB\\VID_1058&PID_071A Remove or pop up \\575850314533304658433836.

This means that this is caused by QQ. After exiting QQ, after waiting for a few seconds, click to delete the mobile hard disk, it should be safely deleted.

The above two methods are very useful for encountering hardware that cannot be safely removed. I suggest you try it out.
