Windows 7 boot animation is gone. What to do

Windows 7's default boot animation is a four-color ball that rotates and merges into a Windows logo, but some users will encounter a green scroll bar instead of an animation when Win7 is turned on. If you are also experiencing this problem, then you can refer to the official solution given by Microsoft. Microsoft explained that due to technical limitations, Windows 7's boot default resolution is 1024x768.

During the startup process, since the graphics card driver has not been loaded yet, these animations are all done by the CPU, and the graphics display is completed by updating the buffer. Therefore, if the display resolution is lower than 1024x768, or the CPU is too bad, it may not be able to run the boot animation. In addition, incorrect system language settings or the use of some improper optimization operations can also cause this problem.

Solution:

1. If it is a hardware cause, then you need to consider replacing the relevant parts.

2. If the hardware supports it, then you can check if the system language setting is wrong and fix the error.

— found in <;Begin->All Programs>; Accessories”. Right click on “command prompt”, select “Run as administrator”.

& mdash; bcdedit type in the command window, then press Enter. Check that the language corresponding to the locale under Windows Boot Manager and Windows Boot Loader is consistent with the Windows 7 system language.

& mdash; if not, type the following command in the command window to modify:

(Note:: XX-XX stands for the language, such as Chinese zh-CN.)

— Restart your computer to take effect.

— If the boot animation still does not appear, try using the installation CD to fix the boot animation with the repair option.
