Merge two IE8 browser processes under Windows 7 system

Windows 7 users may have discovered that when using IE8, the number of IE processes "iexplorer.exe" in the task manager will increase by one for each IE browser. As the number of IE windows increases, you will find that IE is using more and more resources, and the system response speed is getting slower and slower. The reason that system resources are infinitely occupied by the IE process is because the Windows 7 system defaults to "not merging" the number of IE browser processes.

Run the Registry Editor, expand the HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftInternetExplorerMain branch, locate and double-click the "TabProcGrowth" in the right window (if not, please create a new DWord32 value, and name it TabProcGrowth), the pop-up Enter "0" or "1" in the dialog box.

finally click "OK" button to take effect (the settings without restarting the computer).

TabProcGrowth value of 1, the system is allowed up to allow IE8 there are two processes, if the assignment is 0, then IE8 only one process.
