Perfectly enjoy Win7/XP dual system in one partition (2)

Simple and easy to play dual system

Since entering the Win7 single file system will automatically hide the original C drive, so if you want to access the data in the original C drive You need to run the disk management tool and assign it a drive letter. After booting the disk management, you can see that the system has added a new hard disk. This is the virtual hard disk we created, as shown in Figure 3.

Taking the assigned drive letter as "N:" as an example, now we can open the N disk and we can see that the entire dual system now has only 6 files plus 1 BOOT directory (as shown in Figure 4). ). Moreover, after the system has a problem, just copy the two files "winxp.img" and "Win7.vhd" after the installation, and then complete the backup operation. If you want to "reload", enter any system and use the backup file. Replace the file with the same name. The current dual system management and maintenance is much more convenient.

Tip: It is important to note that since all files in the Win7 single file system are packaged in a single VHD file (the XP single file system is loaded in memory), these systems are used. When you pay attention to the downloaded data and documents, do not save them on the current system disk, or move the data and files to other partitions before restarting, otherwise data and files will be lost.

Comments: The traditional dual system has a lot of troubles. First of all, it must be installed in different partitions, and then it must be installed in a certain order to be successful, and the usual backup and recovery operations are also very troublesome, and the method of this paper is used. There is no such problem at all - we can "install" multiple systems in the same partition, which not only makes effective use of the hard disk space, but also facilitates the usual maintenance operations - copy and paste. Most importantly, you can move any system to any partition as needed, and then modify the startup configuration to complete. Don't reload, don't re-partition! If you are often entangled with system problems or partition issues, try the methods described in this article.
