Windows 7 print performance problems are finally fixed

Microsoft recently provided a hot fix (Hotfix), finally solved the problem of poor print performance in Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2 system. In a KB article numbered KB2295825, Microsoft said that computers running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 operating systems may have significantly different print performance than Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008 systems, and may consume when printing documents. More CPU resources, sometimes viewed from the task manager can be found that the CPU usage is always maintained at 100%.

Microsoft explained that the reason for this problem is that the single-processor computer running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 operating system has defects in background printing.

The hot fix released this time applies to all versions of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2. The former includes 32/64-bit and Starter Edition, Home Basic Edition, Home Premium Edition, Professional Edition, Enterprise Version, Ultimate, the latter includes 64/IA 64-bit and Web, Basic, Standard, Data Center, and Enterprise.

But because it is only a hot fix patch and not a patch, KB2295825 is not released publicly. Users who need it can click here to request it from Microsoft.
