MSN can't start or report error under Windows 7

  
        

Microsoft China Windows Live Customer Service website issued a notice yesterday, announcing the solution that Windows Live Messenger instant messaging tool can not start normally.

The official website of Microsoft said that some users reported that Windows Live Messenger could not be started properly. After investigation, the problem is caused by the failure of the user-installed Shield 2.0 to update the system files, causing the Messenger program to fail to start properly.

Users under XP may encounter the prompt "application exception unknown software exception(0xC00000d)" when launching Live Messenger, while Vista and Windows 7 system users may not be able to start the program.

Users can use the following methods to fix this problem:

Method 1: Go to the Microsoft official website to download and run the relevant repair.exe tool

Method 2: User You can manually delete the bl.dat file in the following path

Windows xp:C:\\Documents and Settings\\username\\Local Settings\\application Data\\wlmkv\\ bl.Dat

Windows 7 Or Windows Vista: C:\\Users\\username\\AppData\\Local\\wlmkv\\bl.Dat
