Play Win7/Vista64 bit? First look at the CPU and memory

Everyone on the Internet often sees the name of the downloaded Windows CD or software with the words x86 and x64. Simply put, x86 stands for 32-bit operating system x64 stands for 64-bit operating system.
Many friends are often confused. Can my computer install 64-bit Windows 7 or Vista?
The easiest way to determine whether a computer supports a 64-bit operating system is: If your CPU is dual-core or more, it certainly supports 64-bit operating systems.
If your computer's memory is larger than 4G, you should use a 64-bit system, because 32-bit Windows7 is good, Vista is also good, and the maximum is only 3.25G memory. The 64-bit Windows 7 will support up to 128G of memory.
Of course, if you catch black and don't know your CPU type, you can also use CPU-Z to check if your CPU contains EM64T (INTEL) or X86_64 (AMD) instructions! If it is included, it means support for 64 bit!

64-bit calculation has two major advantages: can carry out a larger range Integer arithmetic; can support larger memory (4G or more).
You can't simply think that the performance of a 64-bit processor is twice that of a 32-bit processor because of the digital changes. In fact, in 32-bit applications, the performance of 32-bit processors will be even stronger. 64bit processors, the current situation is a 64-bit system, but 64-bit applications are relatively small. So be aware of the advantages of 64bit processors, but not superb 64bit.
