What should I do if I encounter a Win8 system file corruption?

For computer use failures, software failures are not as severe as hardware failures, but they can still render computers unusable or difficult to use. The software failure is the most serious system failure, such as system file corruption. The following small series explains how to handle Win8 system files when they are damaged and cannot be repaired automatically.
First, check whether the image can be repaired
1. Scan the image to check for damage. Type the following command at the administrator command prompt:
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
This command will scan all system files and compare them with the official system files to scan for inconsistencies in the computer.
2. Check the image to see if any damage is detected. At the administrator command prompt, type:
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
This command must be used after the previous command is executed and the system file is found to be corrupt. When using the /CheckHealth parameter, the DISM tool will report whether the image is in good health, repairable, or unrepairable. If the image is not repairable, you must discard the image and start over. If the image can be fixed, you can use the /RestoreHealth parameter to fix the image.
Second, the repair image
If you scan the computer for inconsistencies, detect system damage, and report that the image is in good condition and can be repaired, you can use the /RestoreHealth parameter to repair.
1. To fix the image, type at the administrator command prompt:
DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /RestoreHealth
This command restores those different system files to the official system source file. Other third-party software and user settings are completely reserved, and the proportion is much better. Moreover, the system is not damaged when scanning and repairing, and the computer can work as usual.
2. Or, to use some of your own sources and not use Windows Update to fix an online image, type:
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
/Source:c:\\ The command in test\\mount\\windows /LimitAccess
needs to be executed in the case of networking. This command can be used without networking.
Compared with the previous xp or Win7 system, it is still not easy to solve the Win8 system file corruption. If the user's own original image is not repairable, you can download the official native image from the Internet and continue to try to fix it. If it doesn't work, reinstalling the system may be the only way. It is recommended that you do a good job of backing up your personal data in case you do.
