Win8/Win8.1 fun virtual machine three: Hyper-V network settings articles

Today, we have learned how to open the Win8/Win8.1 platform Hyper-V virtual machine? How to install the system under the virtual machine? However, after installing the system, Win8/Win8.1 users found that their virtual machines could not access the external network. Don't worry, the IT House also organizes the Hyper-V network settings graphic tutorial in time.
First, we introduce which network types Hyper-V supports, including three network types: external, internal, and dedicated.
• Hyper-V private network, dedicated to virtual machines, data communication can only be carried out between virtual machines, virtual machines and hosts and physical networks can not communicate.
• Hyper-V internal network type, which only allows network communication between virtual machines and virtual machines, virtual machines and hosts running Hyper-v, and does not allow virtual machines to communicate with physical networks.
• Hyper-V external network type, between virtual machines and virtual machines, between virtual machines and hosts running Hyper-v, virtual machines and physical networks, they communicate with each other.
Therefore, for ordinary Win8/Win8.1 users, the Hyper-V external network type is more suitable for practical use.

1, open the Hyper-V Manager, select the right panel ribbon "virtual switch manager"

2, select the new "external network", for example, named "connection" "External network", check the current network card, such as Ethernet, wireless Wlan network card, it is recommended to check "Allow management operating system to share this network adapter"

3, after the configuration is complete, select OK to take effect

▲ Configure external network process will encounter "network connection interruption" prompt
4, in the physical machine system: Control Panel \\ Network and Internet \\ network connection, automatically generate vEthernet (connect external) Hyper-V virtual Ethernet adapter < Br>
5. Open the main interface of Hyper-V, set the current virtual machine, add the hardware “network adapter” in the hardware area, and select the “connect external network” virtual switch that was set up before.

6. Restart the virtual machine system. At this time, the system will automatically identify the new network and install the new network card driver.

Finally, the Hyper-V virtual machine system successfully accesses the Internet.
