Set up devices to sync in Windows Media Player

  
        There are two ways to synchronize a project with a device: one is automatic and the other is manual. The first time you connect your device to your computer, Windows Media Player will choose the sync method that best suits your device based on its storage capacity and the size of the Windows Media Player media library. After setting up your device for the first time, you can choose another synchronization method (if needed).
