Win8 registry does not have RPEnabled solution

In some operations to modify the registry, we need to edit the value of RPEnabled. However, some users indicated that the value of RPEnabled could not be found in the registry of Win8 system. What should I do?

Solution

1. First we create an RPEnabled text, then copy the following code to Notepad and change the .txt name to .reg.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Explorer]

"RPEnabled"=dword:00000000
