Win8.1 skills: coping with the LAN ping nowhere computer has a trick

When using Win8.1 system today, the client suddenly said that the host could not be accessed. The result is that the server can ping all the machines, and all machines cannot ping the server. What is going on here?

The original Win8.1 defaults to Windows Firewall, which blocks ping requests from other devices on the network. Even if you turn on the network share, you still can't reply to the ping request. Therefore, we need to deal with it, please see the decomposition below.

The solution is:

1. Turn off the firewall directly, this is not a good method.

2. Modify the ICMP Echo rules.

Action: "Control Panel> - “Windows Firewall> - “Advanced Settings> - “Inbound Rules> - “File and Printer Sharing (Echo Request - ICMPv4 - In)”, then choose one based on your actual situation, right click on “Enable Rules”.

If the above second method is not successful, the following method can try.

Change the network class type to home and work network:

Click the small network icon in the lower right corner to open the network list, then right click on the network, open or close the share, select “Yes, use For family and work networks & rdquo;. Then try again.

Although there are still some problems in the Win8.1 system, the solution will come into being at the same time, so we don't have to worry about the problem of using the Win8.1 system to ping the computer. Let everyone choose, and try it out.
