How to modify the default installation path of Windows8 application

Note: Only the test is successful in WIN8 system, WIN8.1 is used with caution (if you are handcuffed, at your own risk)

How to change the default installation path of WIN8 system application in notebook (this method is only applicable to WIN8) System, WIN8.1 please refer carefully)

We know that the default installation path of WIN8 system application is in C:Program FilesWindowsApps (this is a hidden folder)

Directly change the application through the registry The default installation path.

1. Press [Win+R] to open the run, enter regedit to start the registry editor,

2. Locate the following key values:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionAppx

3. Find “PackageRoot” in the right window, and note that its data value is the default installation path for Windows8 applications.

4.Before you can get APPX permission, you can change the default of Windows8 application. Installation path

Select OK, go back to APPX Advanced Security Settings

Then select OK, go back to APPX Permissions window

Check the permissions of Administrators<; Full Control” , finally decided to go back to the registry
