Win8.1 Run CMD Method with Administrator Permissions

There are times when a normal command prompt is not sufficient for our needs. A command prompt with administrator privileges is required to complete our setup or modification. Today, I will give you a brief introduction on how to run CMD with administrator privileges.

Win8.1 uses administrator privileges to run CMD as follows:

Method 1:

1. Press Win+R to open the run and enter it in the open run. CMD opens a command prompt.

Method 2:

Use the WIN+X key combination directly on the desktop.

Method 3:

1. Use WIN+Q or the menu at the bottom right.

2. Enter CMD.
