Windows 8.1 Update 1 Forces Built-in OneNote

Windows 8.1 Update 1 is probably not far off, because we have seen a push rule from Microsoft for OEMs, and a request for OEMs to bind OneNote.

Microsoft said in this document that Windows 8.1 Update1 is Windows 8.1 Update GDR, which seems to follow the update name in Windows Phone 8. According to Microsoft, OEMs are better off installing OneNote when promoting Windows 8.1 Update1, otherwise a blank area will appear in the start screen clock.

That is to say, there is an area on the start screen that is reserved for OneNote. If you do not install this application, a blank will appear. In fact, OneNote is originally a built-in application of Windows 8. Most users install this application after installing Win8, so the impact is not great.

OneNote is a cloud note application from Microsoft that allows you to edit and sync notes across multiple platforms, including mobile phones, PCs, and tablets.

However, it seems that Windows 8.1 Update 1 will soon be updated, this update is especially good for traditional mouse and keyboard users, and added a more conspicuous shutdown button.
