Old updates are bothering! What is the version number of the Windows 10 system?

  
 

Microsoft adopted the Insider program during the development of Windows
10, so frequent version changes occurred. Even the official version will continue to roll out branch versions with subtle changes as the test plan matures. However, we don't necessarily see such an identifier on our desktop, and the system properties see a rough number. So when applying some skills or application software, if you are working on a certain version, how can you quickly know the system version number you are using?

”), select “properties> from the pop-up menu ;, in the subsequent "System" window, we will see the version information of Windows (Figure 1). However, this information is a relatively rough version number. As shown in the figure, the version number of Windows 10 Professional is displayed. We can only know that it is the professional version of Windows 10. The detailed version number is not shown here.

Small Tips:

View the portal of the rough version of the system, also by right-clicking the "Start” button and then on the system Click on the <quo;system” item in the control menu to enter. In addition, you can also call out the system control menu by pressing the Win+X key combination (Figure 2).

The same is the professional version of Windows 10, due to the different upgrade stages, there are subtle version differences. Press the Win+R key combination, then enter the WINVER command in the Run dialog and execute it. A more detailed build number will be given in the “About Windows” information window that pops up later (Figure 3).

In addition, after entering the CMD command in the Run window, after starting the Command Prompt window, we first see the version number of Windows, which contains the build number (Figure 4).
