Microsoft completely terminated Windows XP MSE security protection today

Windows XP has ended its lifecycle on April 8, 2014, but Microsoft is still very kind. The XP security software Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) has been maintaining updates until now. On July 14th, local time, Microsoft released the security and update patches in July, and will also provide updates and maintenance for XP MSE for the last time, and then completely ignore it.

For enterprise users, the XP version of System Center Endpoint Protection, Forefront Client Security, Forefront Endpoint Protection, Microsoft Intune, and more are no longer updated.

If you want to continue using Windows XP, please remember to install third-party security software. Fortunately, there are still many such tools, and many of them are free. There are avast, AVG, and domestic … &hellip You will use it if you like.

Of course, even Windows XP with security software is full of loopholes. After all, there are no more security patches, so it is conditional to upgrade as much as possible.

At present, Windows XP has a global share of about 12%, down 14% from 15 months ago.
