Win10 is compatible with most Win7/Win8.1 hardware and software

After July 29th, Microsoft will gradually push the official version of Win10 to Win7/Win8.1 users. For users who have already accepted the reservation, upgrading the new system and experiencing the new feeling should be the biggest fun for users to upgrade for free. But the fun of upgrading the system is different from playing games. There are wins and losses in playing games, but that is only a pleasure; the system is successful or not, and the actual risks cannot be ignored. Windows 7/Windows 8.1 users are doing system upgrade installations this time, software and hardware compatibility is the biggest risk they face.

Although Microsoft provides Windows 10 subscription and upgrade assistant programs with compatibility detection, Microsoft officially indicated that the test results are for reference only. As a result, there are certain variables in the actual post-upgrade compatibility. However, as the only "transfer" of Microsoft's future operating system, Win10 will not disappoint users in theory. Terry Myerson, the head of Microsoft Windows project, said that Win10 is now compatible with most Win7/Win8.1 software and hardware, and solving compatibility problems will become one of Win10's lifelong tasks, and we must continue to work hard to make Win10&ldquo "All-in-one" all possible Windows hardware and software.

For the recent Win10 official version upgrade compatibility issue, Myerson also admitted that there is a single "do not force" situation. If there is an incompatibility, the system will give some options, including after upgrading to Win10, Microsoft will report the compatibility issue to the corresponding vendor, so as to solve the problem from the source as soon as possible.

According to past experience, upgrading Windows installations will encounter various incompatibilities. The key is to see what you want. If you want to keep your peace calm, don't upgrade now; if you want to experience the latest system, the latest technology, you may have to sacrifice some hardware and software.
