How to set up Win8 to prohibit remote modification of the registry to improve system security

In Win8 system, in order to facilitate the remote operation requirements of advanced users, the system provides settings that allow remote modification of registry keys. Operation Method

First use the “Win+X” shortcut key to pop up the system access shortcut menu, click the “Run” command, switch to the system run text box, and enter “ldpedit” .msc” command and press Enter to open the System Group Policy Editor.

From the list on the left side of the editor, expand “Computer Configuration>-“Windows Settings”-“Security Settings”-“Local Policies”-“Security Options” Node, find the "network access: remotely accessible registry path" group policy under the target node, and double-click the option with the mouse to expand the option settings dialog box, select the remote access registry path that has been opened, and press “ Delete the & rdquo; button to remove it, and close the target group policy settings dialog after confirming.

Next, reposition the mouse to the "Security Options" node and find the "Network Access: Remote Access Registry Path and Sub-Path" group policy, and double-click it with the mouse to appear after it. In the Settings dialog box, delete all open registry paths and confirm the system registry after refreshing.
