How to connect Win8.1 to hide SSID network and wireless networking

  

Recently, I found that the wireless network in my home often slows down inexplicably. Sometimes I will drop the line. After some reason, I found that the original wireless network password was cracked and was caused by others. For professional passwords, the wireless password was immediately modified and the wireless security settings were enhanced to hide the SSID. The problem is, after setting the hidden SSID in the router, the Win8.1 notebook that I use is also unable to find my own wireless network, thus wireless networking. So how does Win8.1 connect to the wireless network with hidden SSID? Through some research, finally find a solution.

Win8.1 connection hidden wireless network method steps (this method, suitable for Win8/8.1 and Win10 systems).

First, in the task bar in the lower right corner of the Win8/Win8.1 desktop, click the wireless icon, as shown below.

Second, in the pop-up Win8.1 network connection panel, click on the [hidden network] at the bottom of the wireless network signal that can be searched, and then you will see a hidden network connection prompt, click [Connect] directly Just click, as shown below.

Note: If you can't find the "Hide Network" option in the above panel, there is no hidden network available around your Win8/8.1 computer. Please check the router wireless settings.

Third, we will ask us to enter the SSID of the hidden network, which is the hidden SSID name set in the router. After the input is complete, click Next.

Fourth, you will be asked to enter the network security key, which is the wireless Wifi password. We fill in the wireless network password and click Next when done.

V. Finally, you will be prompted if you are a home network. If you are home, choose Yes, and other non-sites can be selected. If the above SSID and WIFI passwords are not filled in incorrectly, you can connect to the hidden SSID wireless network, as shown below.
