A number of companies released data: Win10 continues to triumph in the new year

Computer store news: We reported the Windows 10 < 2015 year-end market share data disclosed by Net Applications. Today, more analysis and research companies have released the same data. Not long ago, the new desktop operating system launched in July 2015 has just reached 200 million installed capacity. The strategy of free upgrades is indispensable, but the way that Microsoft pushes is hard to accept. But with the full availability of Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book, this data should be even better.

The above figure is data from StatCounter, which gives the Windows 10 market share second only to 12%, while Windows 8.1 is only a little bit taller than it.

As you might expect, Windows 7 is still the bulk of the desktop operating system (more than 47%), but Windows 10 is eroding more Windows 8 (less than 3%), Windows 8.1, and even Windows XP. (less than 9%) share.

In addition, we can also see that since the release of the November update (TH2), more people who can't stand the Windows 8.x design have chosen to upgrade to the Windows 10 platform for free.

NetMarketShare data also confirms this, giving a Windows 10 share of around 10%, Windows 8.1 of 10.3%, and Windows XP of 10.93. As the king of the desktop operating system market, Windows 7's share is still more than 55%.

Although there is a slight difference in the data, Windows 10's New Year's opening is destined to continue to sing.

GoSquared says Windows 10 devices generate 26% of traffic (as of GMT+2 19:00, January 2, 2016), Windows 8 is 21%, while Windows 7 is still above 48%.

It can be seen that as of December 2015, the traffic ratio of Windows 10 and Windows 8 is quite similar, but the rise of Windows 10 is really unstoppable.
