Win9 preview version released this fall: fade the start screen official version launched next year

Computer store news: According to ZDNet, a technology information website, Microsoft will release the Windows 9 preview version later this year and the official version next year.

Microsoft is currently busy preparing for Windows 8.1 Second Edition update, but the software giant is focusing on Windows 9 that will be launched next year and will have a bigger impact. The new system codename is “Threshold”, which may not be named Windows 9 at the time of release.

The Windows 9 public preview will be available this fall, shortly after the Windows 8.1 Update 2 push. Microsoft has been planning to bring the start menu back with Update 2, but the company is now planning to implement this adjustment with a new generation of systems. Microsoft has begun to use the Windows 8.1 Update to downplay the desktop system start screen, which will be further enhanced in Windows 9.

According to people familiar with the matter, Microsoft is testing the default launch menu on the desktop and hiding the Windows version of the existing start screen. The start screen can be restarted in the Microsoft beta version, and Microsoft will retain this option for users who prefer the tile start screen.

As part of the monthly security patch, Windows 8.1 Update 2 is expected to be available in August. System updates include general bug fixes and improvements to hardware devices introduced before the holiday season. Windows 8.1 Update includes several interface changes and feature adjustments, and Windows 8.1 Update 2 is expected to make some minor interface adjustments.
