WP8.1 is nearing release, Microsoft is testing application compatibility

Computer store news: There are only a few weeks left before the BUILD Developer Conference, and Microsoft will eventually release WP8.1. It seems that Microsoft intends to adopt the "successful" approach, first release the preview version of the OS, and launch new hardware devices in a few weeks.

So Microsoft checks that the compatibility of XAP files submitted to the app store should also be expected. After all, Microsoft wants to test something, so it is estimated that there will be some new news before April 2. In the past five days, there have been some changes in the store, which should be prepared for Windows Phone 8.1.

The process of testing compatibility is simple: access the Windows Phone developer account, and then submit the application's cumbersome procedures; during the upload process, the developer will see the "Support System" option listed in the option WP8 and WP8.1. Currently all applications are expected to run WP8.1, although applications that use the WP8.1 SDK feature may not be able to run on Windows Phone 8 devices.
