Microsoft will update Win8.1 camera, Bing search and application

Computer Store News: Windows 8.1 has RTM and launched RTM to some customers, but Microsoft is still doing Bugs repair and new feature development for Win8.1. Before the official launch on October 17/18, Microsoft is already developing some updates for services and applications, including Bing search and applications and camera applications built into Windows 8.1.

Windows 8.1's built-in Bing search will include more search categories, including hotels and restaurants. The Bing gourmet app will also include cooking videos, new menus and cooking guides, Bing Finance will allow direct in-app transactions, Bing travel will include user-uploaded content from Trover and Michellin, Bing Sports will have more live live events and international sports alliance.

At the same time, Microsoft will also update the Windows 8.1 camera application. The new feature is called Photo Loop, which requires new camera hardware to support Photo Loop, such as new devices such as Surface 2. When you open the Windows 8.1 camera app, the app instantly takes a photo, but you don't feel it's shooting, the radial menu will provide a function to play back the photo, replacing the blink of the photo or other imperfect or missed details.

(Guess this is Microsoft's collaboration with Nokia, leveraging Scalado Rewind technology.)

All of these Windows 8.1 updates will be available on the Windows Store on October 17/18.
