Build 9369 includes support for the ReFS file system

Computer Store News: With the disclosure of Windows 8.1 9369, we have a better understanding of the development direction of this system that will release the preview version in late June. In addition to the known file manager and trackpad setup options, we also saw support for the new file system. The screenshot below is a screenshot from the latest leaked Windows 8.1 9369, which clearly shows that the system currently supports the ReFS file system.

Microsoft introduced support for the ReFS file system before the platform was released.

The ReFS system debuted in 2012 and is based on NTFS. The platform enhances reliability and brings support for high-capacity disks. In addition, in addition to the links between APIs, ReFS supports existing Windows and NTFS features such as BitLocker encryption, access control lists, USN Journal, and change notifications. Although this change will not bring too much improvement to the end user, this enhanced technology can provide better performance and stability. Although we hope to see the file system on Windows 8.1, everything can change before the official release.
