Third, gadget download

Widget is the core of desktop landscaping software, although the cool fish desktop also comes with some Widgets, but most of them The effect is bad, so the use of the repository is inevitable. To be honest, the author did not optimistic about the resource library that looks like QQ news at first, I thought that this kind of web-based management is not very troublesome?

It will inevitably be manually downloaded and installed. However, when the author really got started, I found out that this panel is a one-stop design that integrates resource library, download and installation. Just look at which Widget, click on the corresponding "local download" link, the repository will automatically start the download process, and will install it after the download is complete, so that a few seconds later this Widget has been installed and displayed. It is very convenient in front of us.

Because the official website is copied, the use of the repository is relatively easy. The right side is the tool category, the left side is the tool profile, and the bottom right corner still keeps the recommended list of the cool fish automatic summary. Of course, if you already have a goal in your mind, you can also use the top search bar to quickly search. In short, although the convenience of this web version is relatively general, the advantage is that it is quite easy to get started.

Fourth, edit gadgets

Each gadget has its own tool menu, so that we can easily control it. You can see that the content of the menu is still very rich, absorbing the experience of similar software, especially the previous fish and fish desktop show, also provides the location, transparency, size, welt hidden, mouse penetration, lock position and other functions, even you still You can rotate the Widget by an angle to experience a different feeling.

The editing panel is another highlight of the Barracuda gadget. It is actually a visual DIY platform that intuitively fine-tunes every property of the gadget. For example, you may not be satisfied with the font or color of an already downloaded gadget, so you can easily use this platform (right click → “ edit & rdquo; menu).

After entering the interface, you will find that the overall structure of the editing panel is relatively straightforward. We can quickly select it through the left side of the "Gadgets" menu, or directly use the mouse to point in the preview. After selecting a part, the “Properties” panel on the right will immediately display the specific picture and parameters of the part, even if there is no programming experience, the modification can be completed quickly. After the modification is complete, just click the “Save” button, then right click on the gadget →“window”→“refresh”, the new effect will take effect immediately.

Note: Unlike Rainmeter, the cool fish desktop allows the gadget to bring its own fonts, so we don't have to look for the world's fonts on our computer.

V. Theme Download

In addition to downloading a single Widget directly, we can also download the complete desktop in batches by using the “Themes” function. Of course, this operation also needs to be done through the repository.

Like a single Widget, the downloaded theme will be installed automatically. Simply put, a cool fish theme is equivalent to a wallpaper, a set of fonts, a bunch of similar Widget gadgets, and the layout is the same as the author's release, the fastest desktop layout.

And because the cool fish theme allows for own fonts, there is no problem with the previews that are common in Rainmeter and the actual effects are not uniform. So what exactly is the theme effect? I believe the following picture will explain this problem well.
