Solve Vista desktop without IE issues

Friends who have installed the Windows Vista system should know that after the system is installed, the IE 7 icon does not appear on the desktop. In response to this problem, we have a solution to the Vista channel, which is achieved by modifying the registry key (see: Perfect! Solve the problem that the Vista desktop does not have an IE icon).

Although the above method is feasible, it is not the easiest and most effective. The author has one of the most simple and fast, and it is guaranteed to have an immediate effect. The specific steps are as follows:

When Windows Vista is installed, first display the desktop icon you need in the “Personalization” setting.

In particular, this step is necessary, please do not disturb or skip this step.

Windows Vista users know that the default way to open the system start menu is "unconventional" <; (Figure 1), we just set the start menu here to "old open mode" Finally, click “OK> Save the settings to see the familiar IE 7 icon on the desktop (Figure 2).

The origin of this little trick is actually very accidental and very unexpected. In order to let everyone have a better working environment, the company changed a batch of computers to colleagues in the editorial department. In the process of helping some colleagues to set up and debug the system, I found this “very unremarkable” trick inadvertently.

Although it is an unexpected harvest, it is based on careful discovery. People often say that “all the things are learning” is probably the meaning.
