Windows Vista Sidebar Weather Troubleshooting

The reason why the "Weather" gadget in the Chinese Vista system cannot be used has been confirmed not because of the system language, but because of the locale.
1, open the control panel in turn. >Clock, Language, and Regions>Regional and Language Options,
. Set Current Format to English (United States)
. Go to Location and set Current Location to US "
. Go to "Administration", click "Change System Locale", set to "English (United States)"
After restarting your computer, the Weather widget is ready to use.
2. Click the Settings button in the upper right corner of the Weather widget and use the English or Hanyu Pinyin to enter the name of the city you are looking for in the "Current Location" text box. For example, Beijing can enter "beijing" or "peking", Urumqi can be entered. Wulumuqi" or "urumqi", press Enter to find the city you want.
3. Note: After setting the area to the US, the system number/currency/time/date will be displayed in English. Causes non-Unicode programs (QQ, etc.) to display Chinese characters.
You can Click "Customize this format" in the regional and language options to reset the number/currency/time/date according to Chinese habits.
