Click the settings icon in the upper left corner of the Winamp main window, and select “Options/Preferences” from the pop-up menu (or press the shortcut key Ctrl+P) to open the settings dialog. In the left window of the setup dialog, select the "File types" item. The right window will display the file types that can be opened with Winamp. In Windows 98 you can open it by clicking "Start/Settings/Folder Options", while in Windows Me/2000/XP you can open "My Computer" and then click on the window menu "Tools/Folder Options" to open it. After opening the "Folder Options" dialog box, please continue to click on the "File Type" tab. In the list box of this tab, the file type registered in Windows appears, and the extension with "MP3" is found. Select the file and click the "Change" button. The dialog box that pops up next is the "Open With" dialog, but the "Always use these programs to open these files" checkbox is set to selected and is unchangeable.
