Set the master disk to boot the hard disk in the “Advanced BIOS Features” option. After saving the settings and restarting, the hard drive letter will be arranged in the order of the partitions of the master and slave disks. The disadvantage of this method is that the disk can only be used normally under Windows, and the slave disk cannot be recognized in pure DOS mode.

2.Re-partition method

After setting up the master-slave relationship and connecting the hard disk correctly, use any partition software to divide all the disks into logical partitions, then the drive letter from the disk Will be placed in the order behind the main disk.

3.Using PartitionMagic

PartitionMagic (Partition Magic) can re-partition, format, copy partition, etc., use it to modify the drive letter as follows:

Start PartitionMagic, right click on the drive letter you want to modify, select “Advanced & Rarr; Modify Drive Letter in the shortcut menu, and then select the new drive in the pop-up "Change drive letter" window.
