Share the best way to restrict access to your computer's disk using Windows XP Group Policy

First click on “Start →Run” in the lower left corner of Windows, and enter “gpedit.msc” in the dialog box, which opens the Group Policy Settings window. Then in the window, open the "Local Computer Policy & Rarr; User Configuration & Rarr; Management Template & Rarr; Windows Components & Rarr; Windows Resource Manager" option. In the "Settings" setting on the right side, "protect from the ‘My Computer & rsquo; Access Drive" option, right click on this option's "Not Configured" and select "Properties".

For example, we want to limit the use of system disk C, select “ only limit the drive C & rdquo; If you want to turn off all hard drives, optical drives, etc., you can check "Restrict all drives" and click Apply or OK to save your settings.
