Win XP installation steps

First set the bios settings to CD boot, then put them into the WinXP CD and reboot. The system will automatically read the CD and press any key when prompted in English to enter the installation interface.
1. The installer pops up the protocol dialog box, asks whether to accept the agreement, accept, enter the next step, does not accept, exit the installation. There is no doubt that we have chosen to accept the agreement and then click “Next”.
2. At this point, the installer performs the detection system and copies the necessary installation files to the C drive and other temporary directories. After 15 seconds, the computer restarts.
3. After the computer restarts, enter the WINDOWSXP installation interface. The installer has three options: a) To start installing WinXP, press ENTER b) To repair WinXP, press R c) To stop WinXP and exit the installer, press F3
4. We press Enter to select the first option The program enters the installation directory selection window to determine the drive letter that needs to be installed. If you want to install Windows XP with a disk partition that has not been partitioned by the hard disk, press the C letter on the keyboard. If you want to delete the highlighted disk partition, press the D key on your keyboard. We pressed Enter and chose the C drive.
5. The program enters the next window, prompting to select the format of the file system. All of them are listed below. There are three types: a) Format the disk partition with the FAT file system b) Convert the disk partition to NTFS c) Keep existing file system (no change)---default
6. If you find that the selected disk partition is incorrect, press ESC to return to the previous step. Since NTFS is the most efficient disk file system format for NT series platforms, press Enter when the first option is highlighted. Windows XP will take a few minutes to check the disk space to make sure there is enough space to install Windows XP.
7. Copy the file to the Windows XP installation folder --- After waiting for a while, the files needed for the installation are copied. At this point, we can go to the next step.
8. After the installation program initializes Windows XP configuration, restart the computer. After restarting, you can see the WinXP installation program to perform various tests. Next, the locale installed at the bottom of the installer, the default system area and user locale are (China). The keyboard layout also defaults to Chinese (Simplified) - American keyboard keyboard layout. To make changes, you can customize the settings. The installer enters a window that asks you to enter personal information, including the name and name of the company or organization. Fill in the computer name: The installer provides text input to determine the user's computer name and other settings.
9. Here, you need to declare that the installer creates a user account called Administrator (the system administrator) that has full control over the computer. When determining this account, the installer asks the user to enter “system administrator password" and “confirm password (ie enter again)”. Then, after clicking "> next" with the mouse, the installer pops up the date and time settings dialog box, and then press Enter after confirming.
10. At this point, the system has a network settings dialog box. There are two options, namely, “typical settings” and “custom settings”. For the installer of the operating system, it is recommended to select “typical”. Set ”, let the installer implement a fool-like operation, to avoid setting errors during the installation process.
11. Windows XP is based on the NT kernel. The network is the most important to it, so the domain member settings dialog box pops up. Then perform the final task, which is the installer takes a few minutes to install and configure the WinXP components. The user is no longer required to do this, and the completion is provided by Windows XP.
