Windows xp system settings registry to make thumbnail display clearer skills

        Everyone will save a variety of images, photos, videos, etc. in the computer. WinXP system provides a thumbnail viewing function for the convenience of users. This function allows users to quickly preview the image content without opening the file. However, many times users will think that the thumbnails are not clear enough. In order to improve the quality of the thumbnails, many users can achieve the goal by modifying the registry. If you still don't know how to make the WinXP system thumbnail display clearer.
1. First click the "Start" /"Run" command in the system desktop, in the pop-up system running dialog box, enter the string command "regedit", click the "OK" button, open the system Registry editing interface;
2, followed by the registry sub-key "HKEY_LOCAL_MacHINE" in the left side of the registry editing interface, click on the "SOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorer" under the registry branch that is subsequently expanded "Project, in the list area corresponding to the "Explorer" sub-key, check whether there is a double-byte value named "ThumbnailQuality". Once it is not found, we can right-click the "Explorer" sub-key directly. From the shortcut menu that pops up, execute the "New" and "DWord Value" commands, and then set the key name just created to "ThumbnailQuality";
3. Double-click the "ThumbnailQuality" double-byte value with the mouse. In the Edit DWord Value dialog box that pops up, select the "Decimal" option at the "Base" setting item. At the same time, enter the appropriate number in the value data text box. Generally speaking, the number can be selected within the range of 50 to 100. Under normal circumstances, we only need to set the value of “ThumbnailQuality” to “50”, and then click “OK”. Pressing the button and refreshing the system registry will make the thumbnail display clearer than usual.
