How to turn off the Caps Lock key under XP

  
        In Windows XP, when you press the Caps Lock button, when you press it again, the system will only sound, not Caps Lock. What is going on here? In fact, in Windows XP, the Caps Lock is turned off by default using the Shift key. Of course, you can specify to use Caps Lock to turn off Caps Lock, as follows:

1. In the Windows Start menu, click Control Panel, then double-click and open Regional and Language Options. Dialog.

2. Click the "Language" → "Details" button to open the "Text Service and Input Language" dialog box.

3. Click the "Key Settings" button to open the "Advanced Key Settings" dialog box.

4. Under the heading "To turn off Caps Lock", if you want to turn off Caps Lock by pressing the Caps Lock key, select "Press Caps Lock"; if you want to turn off Caps Lock by pressing Shift, Please select "Press Shift". The selected method will be applied to all input methods added or used, including English input.

5. Click the "OK" button three times in a row to close each dialog box.
