Win2000/XP and Win98 exchange visits

If both computers use the Win2000/XP operating system, then building a LAN is a very simple and easy task. When the hardware connection is completed, you can immediately see each other in "My Network Places". But if there is a computer in the LAN that uses Win98, then the situation may not be the case. We often find that although the Ping command can pass, but still can not achieve mutual visits in "My Network Places", what should I do?

Countermeasure 1: Enable Guest users in Win2000/XP. After the Win2000/XP system is installed, two user accounts will be created by default, namely Administrator (System Administrator) and Guest (Guest Account). All users who are not assigned to the account on the local computer will use the Guest account by default. There is no password. However, by default, this Guest account is not enabled, we can get it from the Control Panel
