Ubuntu removes the emulator failure prompt "the android "XXX" virtual solution

In the Ubuntu system, many users will build more simulators for testing purposes. In order not to occupy system memory resources, these unused simulators will be deleted after the test is completed, but cannot be deleted during the deletion process. The problem, the system prompts "the android" XXX " virtule device is currently...”, and shows that it can not be deleted, what should I do if I encounter this problem?

The main reason may be due to the location of the storage.

Find the .android folder in your $HOME directory.

In .android there should be a avd folder

In the avd folder should be one or multiple .ini file And a corresponding *.avd virtual device folder.

Delete both the .ini file and the .avd folder you want to get rid of.

Return to the Android sdk and AVD manager.< Br>

The way to find it is to find the two files under the folder: xxx.avd and xxx.ini, and find the direct delete!

The first step: to find the file

The key is how to find, I find for a long time did not find, so look for the direct command: find .android

here I can see that you want to delete the simulator:

Step two: delete files

rm .android /avd /aaaa.ini

rm -r. Android/avd/aaaa.avd

Note that the second command adds -r as if aaaa.avd is a directory

Step 3:

android virtrual Device Manager refresh whether succeed!

The above is the Ubuntu delete simulator failure prompt "the android" XXX & rdquo; virtule solution, this problem is mostly caused by the storage location, the user only need to find the corresponding file to delete.
