Two ways to cool Ubuntu

Any computer running for a long time will be hot, Ubuntu system computer is no exception, but Ubuntu system can reduce the loss of the computer by cooling the hard disk. The following small series will tell you how to cool the Ubuntu system.

Program a

1. Installation laptop_mode

sudo apt-get install laptop-mode-tools

2. Start laptop_mode

sudo laptop_mode start

3. Test if it is enabled

cat /proc/sys/vm/laptop_mode

0 means that other means is enabled.

View the detailed status of the laptop_mode report.

sudo laptop_mode status

4. First look at the status of your hard drive (sata hard drive)

sudo hdparm -I /dev/sda
