How to make Linux support ASP/ASP.NET diagram detailed tutorial

The most popular Linux operating system
distribution is Ubuntu. But this time we are running ASP.NET in the Linux operating system
, so we chose openSUSE. I am going to install openSUSE 11.3 OS
in Oracle VM VirtualBox.

First go to the openSUSE official website to download the openSUSE-11.3-DVD-x86_64.iso file. Then run Oracle VM VirtualBox 4.0, create a new openSuse virtual machine and set it as shown below:

In order for the host to access the virtual machine from the network, the network connection must be set to Bridged. Adapter, as shown below:

Make a note of the MAC address in the above figure, and then assign it a static address on the Broadband Router, as shown below:

Click the "Start" button on the Oracle VM VirtualBox toolbar to start installing the openSUSE operating system.

Press “F2” to select “Simplified Chinese” as the default language. Then select “Install ” from the main menu. Click all the way to “Next” button until “Desktop Selection>:

The default is "KDE Desktop", I actually selected "GNOME Desktop" Because the default desktop of the Ubuntu operating system is "GNOME Desktop", it is cooked and does not want to be changed. As you can see from the above figure, if you want to install a production server, it is best to select “minimize server selection (text mode)”. Click “Next”, now is the time to plan the disk partition:

Use the suggested partition, click “Next”, enter “ User Settings & rdquo; Steps:

Enter the "username" & rdquo; & ldquo; password & rdquo; and other items, click & ldquo; next & rdquo;, enter “ installation summary & rdquo;: Br>

I changed the item in "Software Selection" and removed the "Desktop Function" and added ".NET Development".

After confirmation, click “Install” to proceed to the long installation process:

After the package is installed, it will restart automatically, as shown below:

Finally, complete the installation into the desktop of the openSUSE operating system:

At this point, the openSUSE 11.3 operating system is installed. It is.

After closing the openSUSE VM, you should remove the <quo;CD-ROM drive from the "Startup Sequence" in the VM "Settings" as shown below:

< Br>

Now let's make the necessary configuration for the openSUSE 11.3 operating system we just installed.

As shown above, click “Computer –> YaST”, then:

After entering the root password, click Continue. Go to “YaST2 Control Center>:

Click on the “Sudo” item in Security & Users", enter “Sudo Configuration: sudo Rule> ;:

As shown above, click the “Add” button to enter “New Sudo Rules>:

As shown in the figure, adding a sudo privilege to your users allows you to execute privileged instructions without entering a root password. Then click the "OK" button, the effect is as shown below:

As shown above, click the "OK" button and return to "YaST2 Control Center":

As shown in the above figure, click on “Security & User" in "Firewall", enter <;Firewall Configuration>:
