Ubuntu installed Sogou Chinese input method

There are a lot of posts on the network about how to install Sogou input method on Ubuntu, but it seems to have some problems. After your own exploration, the method is summarized as follows:

1, download sogou

Sogou input official download address: http://pinyin.sogou.com/linux/, please The current system selects the appropriate version. For example, I chose the 64bit version.

2, uninstall ibus

#sudo apt-get remove ibus
 After uninstalling ibus, unity-control-center may be unloaded, causing many options in System settings to be missing. As shown below:

 Solution:
#sudo apt-get install unity-control-center install unity After -control-center, the options in the System settings can be displayed again. Figure 2 After installing unity-control-center 
 3, install sogou
#sudo dpkg -i sogou_pinyin_linux_1.0.0.0011_amd64. Deb # The first execution, will prompt the lack of dependencies #sudo apt-get -f install # install sogou dependencies #sudo dpkg -i sogou_pinyin_linux_1.0.0.0011_amd64.deb # Install sogou again, you can install successfully #sudo reboot # restart (Logout is also possible) can use the sogou input method normally
