Solve the failure of the cwRsync server service startup

Previously deployed a cwRsync service for a customer to achieve synchronous backup between two windows servers. Recently, the customer reported that the backup server did not synchronize the backup data, and asked for help to solve the problem. So I checked the remote connection to the client server and found that the cwRsync server stopped. At startup, it prompts that the startup failed.

Why is everything normal before, now there is a problem? Or check the event log first. After reviewing, it turned out that the server did not stop the cwRsync server when it restarted automatically. If it is suddenly restarted, it will cause this error. How to deal with it?

Solution: Delete C: \\ Program Files \\ ICW \\ rsyncd-stdin.log file and the C: \\ Program Files \\ ICW \\ rsyncd-stdin.pid file, then restart the service. PS: Generally, the error that the RsyncServer service on the local computer starts and then stops is caused by an abnormal shutdown. This problem does not occur if it is a normal restart.
