Use hard disk identification to quickly locate damaged hard disks in the array

  
                   After the disk array is finished, it is best to make a self-adhesive label for each hard disk and attach it to the hard disk. This way, you can quickly find the damaged hard disk and replace it when there is a problem with the hard disk, reducing downtime.

The label is made very simple. It is easy to print a beautiful hard disk logo with Brady's tls2200 and the appropriate label.

But how can you quickly know the number of each hard disk in the chassis?

We can Use the hdparm command to query the serial number of the hard disk. Then you can locate each hard disk according to the serial number marked on each hard disk.

The parameters for querying the serial number using hdparm are as follows:
